TIMOTHY J. RYANTimothy J. Ryan is a partner in the law firm of Gallagher, Gams, Pryor, Tallan & Littrell, L.L.P. His main areas of practice include criminal defense, bodily injury litigation, business litigation, including the defense of trademark, unfair business practices, and copyright violations, contract litigation, wrongful death actions, insurance claims investigation, and insurance policy coverage issues.
Mr. Ryan received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Miami University in 1982 and his J.D. degree from the Ohio State University in 1991. Prior to attending law school Mr. Ryan was a certified public accountant working for the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse. After law school Mr. Ryan served as an Assistant Franklin County Prosecutor and was the director of the office's economic crimes unit when he left the position in 1997 to join this firm. Mr. Ryan has been a resident of Columbus for approximately 20 years. He and his wife Jean have three daughters, Nora, 17 years of age, Kieran, 15 years of age, and Catherine, 11 years old.
Mr. Ryan has presented cases in courts throughout Ohio. His appellate experience includes the presentation of cases to Ohio Supreme Court and the 6th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals.
